DCC offers a variaty of rides for cyclists of all abilities. All rides sponsored by DCC are led by members who volunteer their time by selecting a destination and determining a route.
Everyone is welcome on a DCC ride regardless of whether you are a member or not, but we do have some rules. We hope that after attending a ride with us you will consider becoming a member.
Road ride classifications
Our system includes the starting location, a pace descriptor (A..D), and a distance (miles). Some ride titles also include the leader's name. Ride leaders determine the length and pace.
Expected Pace
The number shown is the speed riders are expected to be able to ride over the duration of the ride. This means your average pace for the entire ride and not only on the flat. Cruising speed on the flat may be about 2 mph faster than the average pace, depending on local terrain.
