Break out your pre-2000 bikes, it is time to show them off. This is a casual social ride to show off your bike from the past century. Dust it off and get it in shape to roll. Helmet and lights recommended.
As a tribute and thank you to visionary Horace Huffman and the vast amount of bike trails we enjoy in the Dayton area, we are going to ride along the Great Miami Trail. https://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/5704090963/
Ride starts at 10am from Lot D of Welcome stadium, meet at the shelter next to the Dayton Bike Yard. We will ride the bike path north to Island Park and to Riverscape and back to the Bike Yard. Approximately 8.5 Miles.
Don't worry if you don't have a pre-2000 bike, just bring a melon to carry (in your jersey or cinch sack) along with you....for all to share at the end of the ride.
