What is this?
Details<br />A 12-14 mile slow paced ride, to explore the local haunts. (First Loop 12 miles, second loop 6 miles)<br /><br />Come and learn some Dayton history and visit some interesting local landmarks that are reputed to be the sites of ghostly and mysterious<br /><br />Helmets, reflective wear and lights are required. Halloween Costume optional.<br /><br />This ride will be mostly in the dark on residential and some city streets. Riders ride at their own risk.<br /><br />Each rider will receive a map and ghost guide, so you can ride at your own pace.<br /><br />Ghost Guide: You can download a copy of the 'official Ghost Guide" on the Major Taylor Cycling club of Dayton Facebook page under "files"<br /><br />Some of the places we will be visiting include; Woodland Cemetery, the University of Dayton, the Patterson Homestead, the Oregon District, Stoddard Pumpkin Glow and downtown Dayton, where Sinclair College is said to be one of the most haunted places in the city (learn why on the tour : 0 )<br /><br />For anyone one who wants more, there will be an optional extra 6 mile loop to see the "Witches Tower", as well as, the Halloween decorations along Shafor Blvd in Oakwood. The Witches Tower is possibly the most intriguing and creepy structure in Dayton. It is the subject of many urban legends. Find out which ones are true, and how the tower came to be.<br /><br />Dinner and drinks for those who wish at the Brewery afterwards.<br /><br />Ride canceled if significant rain, snow or temperatures below 32 degrees
