GOBA

Where:  Wellington - Galion - Mt. Vernon - Coshocton - Orrville - Wellington

Ride Description:  The Great Ohio Bicycle Adventure (GOBA) will take place June 14th through the 21st, 2008.  GOBA is a project of Columbus Outdoor Pursuits (COP), a volunteer-based participatory organization created to provide opportunities and education for outdoor recreation and activities.  

LIMITED to 3000 riders so register ASAP!!!!

Price: DCC SAG Support - $50 (plus GOBA fees - $170 Adult (Prior to May 1, 2008), $85 Children)

DCC SAG Registration:  Mark Minardi has agreed once again to drive the Dayton Cycling Club sag truck for the GOBA. Mark will rent a truck and then haul your gear from town to town during GOBA. He will not guarantee shade, tailwinds or closeness to toilets or showers, but he will assure that we have iced liquid refreshments, dry luggage and a place to sit and relax at GOBAville each day. Due to increased fuel costs, the rate will be $TBD per person.
It helps greatly if participants have a sense of humor and are willing to help the driver and other participants as needed. In return, participants may bring lawn chairs in addition to the one or two bags they normally would bring on GOBA. Please label said lawn chairs as well as all bags and gear.

Only registered GOBA riders can sign up for the DCC’s GOBA sag. Please mail a check made out to the Dayton Cycling Club plus the accompanying form to DCC GOBA SAG, 935 Hathaway Road, Dayton, OH 45419. For more information, contact the Minardis at (937) 299-2454 or dccsecretary@earthlink.net.
