                  Downtown Bike to Work Day May 16
 

            I joined a large group of bike commuters and Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission friends on Friday morning, May 16 in the Second Street Market for Five Rivers MetroParks’ Downtown Dayton Bike to Work Day.  The pancakes were large enough to fill the plate!    It was good to have a DCC table for Downtown Bike to Work Day! 

            I want to thank Five Rivers for picking up the Downtown Dayton Bike to Work Day, after we hosted the event in a new downtown apartment building in 2005.  Five Rivers has done an excellent job with the event since then.

                               We Need Your Miles and Commuting Tips

         Please send your monthly miles by 2nd of each month to Dennis.L.Pohl@lexisnexis.com.  Remember to include errands, appointments, trips to school, and other trips in which you substituted a bicycle for a motor vehicle.  Please round all figures to the next whole number.
